insert wit about reading being the best

for as long as i can remember, reading has been one of my favorite pass times. there is something absolutely glorious about the rustle of pages and the crackle of a book's spine combined with delicious words. for as long as i can remember, i have been "that girl" who walks up to the libary counter with a stack of 10 books. i may not finish all of them, but when returned, usually half have been read & enjoyed.
. . . . .
if i'm gonna be completely honest, tuesday morning donned & i still had nothing planned for my wednesday post. i had been racking my brain for the entirety of the week trying to think of something original & close to my heart that i could post about...and i came up short...for six days. but, when i walked into a book store [which just recently celebrated its grand opening] it dawned on me. books! coffee table reads with yummy pictures! summer reads with yummy words! all the books! that's what i shall do! so upon my return to the house, i powered up the computer and with my 20 oz. coffee in hand [er, on the coaster next to me.], rain pouring outside my window, and some nice summer pj's, i began to write this post. without further ado - 10 books. 5 of the yummiest coffee table reads & 5 of the most delicious summer ones.
