on the road again / maine

summers for my family are always a little nuts. and by nuts i mean 3 months ends up feeling like 3 weeks. from mid-july to mid-august, the 6 of us live out of suitcases & are constantly piling into the car to go to the next destination. though i may not be a world-renowned traveller, i've definitely spent a fair amount of time in the backseat of our pilot. on sunday, our family burdened our car with too much luggage and suitcases [once again] & at about 8 we arrived in a very chilly maine.

the journey begins / rain & lots of grey

a few things:

- makeup is seriously annoying to keep up on the travel days so i usually end up removing it at the beginning of the trip. my favorite clarifying wipes.

[ it's always nice to not worry about streak-y makeup, oily foreheads & mascara on pillows. i'm just saying. ]

- my favorite pass times: sleeping, journaling, square-gaming 

- the only thing i listened to the entire trip.
